Hubris syndrome from complexity theory
The research question posed was how hubris syndrome goes unnoticed in professional development, the ethical conduct of doctors and in health systems. The general objective was to classify the levels of analysis of hubris syndrome using complexity theory. There are three particular objectives: a) to describe the level of deontological evanescence in the medical profession, b) to imply the level of power excess in health systems and c) identify the level of transfer and adoption of epistemic values unrelated to health, the hypothesis which guides this investigation was that until now the imposed adoption of new values transferred due to the emergence of an epistemic transition resulting from an anomaly in the hegemonic theory. The method used was qualitative with a critical orientation and in the conclusions the positive part that the myth of Apollo offers us was recovered where the beauty and humanistic rationality of medical education cannot give away or regress to the pressure of an epistemic change dominated by values unrelated to health, it is suggested to study the phenomenon from the complexity and establish levels of reality to classify behaviors, ideologies and discourses that encourage the emergence of hybris
