Poetic form of Dravidian history
Bharathidasan has used his poetry as a sword of Dravidianism. All books such as Charal of Sanjeeviparvatam, Kaththi of Tamilachi, Vengaiye Eghuga, Tamiliyakkam all speak about the translated Dravidian way of life. Whatever poem Bharathidasan wrote, he did not forget to write the superiority and historical excellence of Tamil in the poem. Poems written to protect the language are like poems written to protect the religion by Bharathidasan. They provide Tamil emotion and the sense of identity that protects it while reading. The meaning of the word Dravidian can be elaborated in the poems of Bharathidasan. Also, it can be a record of Dravidian history. Thus, this article is a study on Bharathidasan's poetry as a poetic form of Dravidian history.
