Epigenetics in Animal Development and Disease
Epigenetic systems control animal development by altering gene expression via DNA methylation, histone modification, and non-coding RNA pathways. These mechanisms are critical for cellular differentiation, tissue development, and organismal growth. However, alterations in epigenetic control can result in a variety of illnesses, including cancer and metabolic problems. This study examines the function of epigenetics in animal development and disease, focusing on current breakthroughs and prospective therapeutic applications
