Leadership Impact Matrix

Leadership Impact Matrix (LIM) is a two-dimensional assessment tool. It is designed to evaluate leadership effectiveness through the perceptions of subordinates. This instrument focuses on two dimensions, grounded in established leadership theories such as Path-Goal and Transformational Leadership. The primary dimension assesses how leaders guide and empower their teams. The secondary dimension evaluates leaders’ motivational influence on team dynamics and individual behaviors. Through a rigorous process of item generation, expert review, and statistical validation, LIM demonstrates strong reliability and validity as a tested assessment tool. It utilizes a structured questionnaire format that allows respondents to rate their leaders across various items. The questionnaire contains 21 items that provide valuable insights into leadership effectiveness. The scoring system categorizes results into high, medium, or low impact. It facilitates targeted feedback for individual development and organizational assessment. The statistical tests have demonstrated internal consistency, test-retest and split-half reliabilities, and content and construct validities. This instrument is a vital resource for organizational leaders who seek to enhance their leadership practices, improve team performance, and develop a culture of continuous growth through a guided evaluation. By leveraging the insights gained from LIM, organizational leaders can better align their leadership strategies with the needs of their teams.
