La microfaune de l'Igue du Gral
The microfauna from Igue du Gral.- The microfauna described in this work proceeds from the sieving of the sediments taken out during the excavations of the pit fall. The plan and cross section are taken again later from H. Camus works, inserted in the yearly report 2011 sent to DRAC-Midi-Pyrénées. The filling complexity obliges to use the square scraping succession before to group together in biostratigraphic layers described by J.-B. Mallye, J.-C. Castel and M. Boudadi-Maligne. Each scraping surface contains few determinable elements. The investigations are limited to better provided squares. Thus, the data are reduced. The results give yet some interesting precisions on deposit conditions on slope of conical hillock, locally marked by some over-deepening drain and on climatic evolution overall fresh temperate but changeable with boreal species or steppe like environment overlying a fresh ground. Chronological stage can be placed as transitional period between Würm and Holocene. A stalagmitic floor confirms that chronostratigraphical position.
