Good Laboratory Practices
As technology and evidence-based medicine advance quickly in the modern day, Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) is crucial to maintaining the quality, consistency, repeatability, and reliability of laboratory testing. It offers labs a structure for organizing, carrying out, supervising, documenting, and reporting their operations. It also shows how well laboratory services performed throughout evaluations and accreditation procedures. The primary target audience for the Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs) guidelines is laboratories doing research for regulatory compliance. Nonetheless, GLP may now be used in many scientific fields to meet the requirements of assay repeatability, high-quality data collection, and experimental aims. It is now imperative that the GLP idea be applied outside of regulatory investigations. As a result, it can facilitate a deeper comprehension of scientific issues and support the preservation of both human and environmental health.
