PyroMar - Project-related publications
PyroMar is a project concept to produce "defossilised", low-sulphur marine bunker fuels from bio-based residues. Ablative fast pyrolysis converts the residuals into bio-oil. Esterification with medium-chained alcohols, derived from straw-based ethanol in a catalytic process, then converts the bio-oil into a biofuel. Under the same name, a research project was funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) under the grant number 03EI5412. The paper lists lists papers and public reports related to both the PyroMar concept and project.
