A local realistic model unifying Relativity and Quantum theories

This article describes a local-realistic hidden-variables model of the internal structure of elementary particles, compatible, in principle, with all experimental results presently available, including Bell’s inequality tests. According to this model, there exists an absolute space, ether or vacuum. Electromagnetic radiation consists of ether waves interacting linearly. Matter is formed by packets of ether waves trapped by non-linear interaction mechanisms. Elementary particles are packets of this type forming regularly spaced lattices. Lorentz transformation reflects the effect of Pythagoras’ theorem on the interaction lines holding together material objects moving relative to ether. The contraction of these objects makes the Michelson-Morley experiment compatible with the existence of ether. The time shifts generated by this motion along its direction in regularly spaced structures produce a wave identifiable with de Broglie’s phase wave. The resulting variant of the Bohr-Sommerfeld model, in which electrons occupy their entire orbits, can reproduce the experimental results of the whole Quantum physics and chemistry. The model can also reproduce Newtonian gravity and General Relativity in terms of ether density acting as refraction index on the deflection of ether waves of both matter and radiation, replacing the concepts of space-time and its curvature. Abstract

This version contains 14 pages, with 2 figures.
