HUMAN RESOURCE PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION, MOTIVATING STRATEGIES, AND EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE IN THE GOLDENHIGH-GARMENTS MANUFACTURING CORPORATION: BASIS FOR ENHANCED PROGRAM

The study assessed the HR program implementation of The Goldenhigh-Garments Manufacturing Corporation and its relationship to the utilization of moderating strategies and employee performance to develop an enhanced program. Surveys were conducted to collect quantitative data from the employees, focusing on HR program implementation dimensions such as ability, motivation, and opportunity, as well as motivating strategies including intrinsic and extrinsic motivators. Additionally, the survey also focused on performance dimensions such as productivity and quality output. The data were statistically processed using weighted mean, Likert-scale, and Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient to quantify the impact. This study used the quantitative descriptive-correlational method approach. The respondents were the employees of The Goldenhigh-Garments Manufacturing Corporation. The findings revealed that the HR program implementation of the company in terms of ability, motivation, and opportunity was fully implemented with a general assessment of 3.81, 3.84, and 3.88 respectively. Moreover, there was no significant difference in the assessment of the heads and staff as to the level of HR program implementation with an obtained probability values of 0.860, 0.361, and 0.656. Additionally, the employees were highly performing in terms of productivity and output quality with a general assessment of 3.89 and 3.94 respectively, and the former determined that the amount of extrinsic motivators in the program was extremely motivating. Based on these findings, an enhanced program was proposed encompassing overall employee development strategies, skill-performance-centric program, capacity planning, and workflow management. The implementation of the enhanced program in the future was expected to optimize employee performance. Overall, this study provided valuable insights into enhancing the HR program with the ultimate goal of improving the employee performance of the company.
