On the illusion of the geometry of spacetime and emergent gravity

Gravity is a fundamental phenomenon that we feel every moment of our existence and yet we have not been able to decipher its profound meaning. The current general relativistic interpretation through curved spacetime, guided by the metric tensor in Einstein's equations and the search for quantum gravity, creates insurmountable obstacles to the unification of spacetime with quantum fields, which oscillate on the basis of vacuum energy. Here, a complete change in the interpretation of gravitational attraction is introduced with a new thermodynamically based foundations, avoiding abstract terms "force at a distance" or the curvature of spacetime, allowing integration of spacetime and quantum fields into a single logical framework. Gravity can be explained as the tendency of compact, extreme condensed energy systems to follow localised gradations in the surrounding vacuum, striving for a state of least energy difference, without violating the isotropy and homogeneity required by the cosmic microwave background radiation. It is shown that gravity thus cannot be mathematically quantised and behaves differently at galactic levels. A conceptual cause-and-effect explication is given, moving us away from string theory and quantum loop gravity as non-intuitive attempts lacking physical reasoning about attraction, entangling us in a century-old deadlock.
