Comprehensive Evaluation of FibroMab TLHP: A Novel Tri-Layer Hydrogel Patch for Fibromyalgia Management
Abstract Fibromyalgia is a chronic condition characterized by widespread musculoskeletal pain, fatigue, and cognitive disturbances. Despite various treatment options, many patients experience incomplete relief and significant side effects. This study introduces FibroMab TLHP, a tri-layer hydrogel patch that delivers a combination of pharmacological agents directly to the affected areas. The patch aims to enhance therapeutic efficacy while minimizing systemic side effects. This paper discusses the theoretical framework, development process, and proposed preclinical assessment of FibroMab TLHP. The innovative combination of active ingredients—collagenase, lidocaine, capsaicin, CR845 (Difelikefalin), a novel cannabinoid (CBD), and etoricoxib—targets multiple pathological aspects of fibromyalgia, potentially improving treatment outcomes and patient compliance.
