Probabilistic data-driven turbulence closure modeling by assimilating statistics
This repository contains all files used in the study on probabilistic closure modeling by assimilating statistics, applied to two-dimensional Rayleigh-Bénard (RB) convection. The paper detailing the method can be found here. The repository includes: - basic_solver.zip - not actually used in the study, but might be helpful for further studies. It contains the RB solver without any model implementations, i.e., it is the vanilla solver. - solver.zip - contains the RB solver with model implementations as used in the study. The high-fidelity (filtered DNS) data is also stored in this archive. - run_rb.py - script used for running a single RB simulation. - run_ensemble.py - script used for running an ensemble of RB realizations concurrently. - run_onestep_comparison.py - script used to collect and store the data used in the presented modelling approach. - visualization.py - script used for visualization of simulation results.
