MgO/SiOₓ Adds Heat Dissipation Function to Crystalline Silicone Solar Cell Modules
To suppress the temperature increase of crystalline silicon (c-Si) solar cell modules during power generation, a glass film (MgO/SiOₓ) mixed with thermal conductive filler material MgO particles was applied on EVA and back sheets at the bottom of c-Si cells. Vacuum lamination was conducted at a relatively low temperature (90°C) to maintain the shape of MgO/SiOₓ. Increasing the quantity of MgO particles in the film enhanced the formation of heat transfer pathways by the particles in the film, and the temperature elevation during power generation was mitigated. Furthermore, when ethanol was added to the MgO/SiOₓ film formation solution, the temperature rise suppression effect was improved.
