Overview of corrosion research in Morocco: A bibliometric analysis
Corrosion research in Morocco is actively progressing, with researchers investigating various aspects of corrosion prevention and mitigation, particularly in response to industrial and environmental challenges. Research focuses on the development of effective corrosion inhibitors, particularly environmentally friendly (green) inhibitors derived from natural sources, for various metals in different corrosive environments. A bibliometric analysis was conducted using Scopus data and VOS viewer. Studies also examine the corrosion behaviour of other alloys and the influence of environmental factors such as phosphoric acid solutions, seawater, and freshwater on corrosion.
