Judicial discretion means creative interpretation of provisions of criminal and criminal procedure law along with other industry-specific laws. The author engages in controversy with Professor N.A. Kolokolov on the number of qualities of judicial discretion that concern firstly, courage, secondly, commitment to principles in solution of specific cases.
