Toolkit of Selected Resources: Providing Support in Music's Allied Disciplines - Online Companion to STEAMED HAMS

This toolkit functions as a curated list of resources to help a library worker get "up to speed" with a new discipline–including those in the other performing arts, the humanities, social sciences, and hard sciences. This toolkit is divided into two sections. The first includes a series of questions that a library worker may wish to explore when encountering a new discipline. The second half contains a directory (organized in alphabetical order by allied discipline), which includes library-specific resources, subject-specific organizations, and a very brief bibliography of relevant publications to help connect a beginner with the communities and conversations needed to feel confident in engaging with one of music's allied disciplines.
