Garib Kalyan Rojgar Abhiyaan

The comprehensive government project, the Garib Kalyan Rojgar Abhiyaan aims to solve the issues that rural communities in India confront, especially those that have been made worse by the COVID-19 pandemic. The primary objective of the Garib Kalyan Rojgar Abhiyaan is to alleviate marginalized populations' suffering and offer livelihood possibilities in 116 designated districts spread across six states in India. By improving infrastructure in these areas and generating job opportunities, the programme aims to strengthen the rural economy. It aims to give migrant workers a source of income and focuses in particular on those who returned to their hometowns during the lockdown.
