Jesus in Islam: A Complete Theological and Polemical Study
This paper offers a comprehensive and critical exploration of Jesus (peace be upon him) within the Islamic tradition. It examines the core theological principles regarding his identity, mission, and return, while systematically addressing ideological and doctrinal objections raised by atheists, Christians, and Jews. Through an interdisciplinary approach grounded in the Qur'an, authentic Hadith literature, and classical and contemporary Islamic scholarship, the study challenges reductionist claims, theological distortions, and historical misconceptions. It presents Jesus not as a mythical figure or divine incarnation, but as a divinely appointed prophet and servant of God. Ultimately, the paper advocates for a coherent, historically grounded, and spiritually meaningful understanding of Jesus that is consistent with Islamic monotheism and eschatology.
