Research on the Power Supply Scheme for LTE Remote Equipment on Urban Rapid Transit Lines Based on DC Remote Power Supply Technology

Objective With regard to the equipment power supply demand for long-distance section of urban rapid transit lines, the traditional point-to-point and cross-redundant power supply method for remote equipment in urban rail transit sections with WLAN (wireless local area network) and TD-LTE (time division long term evolution) exhibits various defects such as cable waste, power resource wastage, and low redundancy. Method A resolution of using DC remote power supply technology for the long-distance power resource transmission is put up, thereby optimizing the power supply scheme for the remote equipment in long-distance sections. Result & Conclusion The DC remote power supply technology can meet the power supply demand for long distance section of urban rapid transit lines, and a single point failure will not cause interruption of wireless communication, thus further improve the redundancy and reliability of the power supply system. The monitoring subsystem installed in the equipment can be synchronously integrated into the signal microcomputer monitoring system to realize the closed-loop management of the power supply system.
