Advancements in environmental practices within Russia's chemical sector

\nThe research is focused on exploring the theoretical aspects of environmental innovation implementation. It would be beneficial to consider the management of environmental innovation at the enterprises of the chemical industry. It is worth noting that this industry plays a significant role in environmental pollution. Through the introduction of environmental innovation, there is potential to not only reduce emissions and waste generation in the production of goods and services, but also to improve economic and social indicators. Such measures may well lead to increased competitiveness in the long term. The paper examines the innovation activity of enterprises engaged in the production of fertilizers and nitrogen compounds, soap and detergents, plastics and synthetic resins in primary forms, and synthetic rubber. We hope to shed light on the main directions of introduction of ecological innovations in the process of production of goods and services in the chemical industry of the Russian Federation.\n
