A Review of the Current Situation and Insights of Integrative Palliative Care Models at Home and Abroad
Starting from the emergence and practice of the integrative palliative care abroad, this paper explores the significance in addressing the aging society and managing both oncological and non-oncological diseases. By sorting out the current development status of integrative palliative care in China and comparing it with international practices, it reveals the deficiencies in China's palliative care services, including limited service scopes, insufficient policy support, weak multidisciplinary collaboration, and low public awareness. Drawing on ideal elements of integrative palliative care models proposed by international scholars, the study offers new perspectives for building and optimizing integrative palliative care models in China, which may promote the development of palliative care in China.
