Analysis of the causes of formation of ethanolamine destruction products in absorbent solutions used in gas cleaning
\nThe causes of degradation of absorbent solutions used in natural gas purification were analyzed. Factors affecting the physico-chemical properties of absorbents, absorption volume were studied. Compounds (thermally stable salts (TBT), organic acids, di-, tri-, tetra-compounds of amines) affecting the efficiency of gas cleaning and reducing the physico- chemical and working properties of ethanolamine solution were studied. It was determined that the accumulation of the above compounds in the absorbent solution causes its saturation, adversely affects the physico- chemical and working properties of the absorbent solution, and makes it unsuitable for the gas cleaning process.\n
