Synthesis of\nC–N or C–C Spiroindolines\nvia Rearrangement Coupling Reaction

Herein, we report a general approach to effectively construct\nC–N\nor C–C spiroindolines using tetrahydro-β-carbolines as\nstarting materials via a rearrangement coupling reaction. This method\nis characterized by its operational simplicity and mild conditions.\nNotably, a wide range of anilines and indoles are suitable for this\nintermolecular coupling, yielding the corresponding C–N or\nC–C spiroindolines in good to excellent yields.
