Thesaurus of Biological Science

One of the best solutions to these problems is the use of a thesaurus, which aims to convert the natural language of documents into a controlled information language. This, in turn, facilitates the alignment of the language used by information producers and users, allowing for the maximum amount of information to be stored, organized, and retrieved with the least cost and effort (comprehensiveness) and with the highest accuracy and quality (specificity). Additionally, a significant portion of the country's scientific output is in the field of biological studies. However, the absence of a thesaurus in the field of biology, which could potentially resolve some issues in the information dissemination of these sciences, seemed notable. Thus, the thesaurus of life sciences was developed as part of the comprehensive thesaurus of basic sciences.
