D2.2 - Requirements Analysis, Reference Scenarios, Applicable Standards and Regulations v2
HumAIne is a pioneering initiative dedicated to researching, developing, validating, and promoting a revolutionary Operating System (OS) for Human-AI collaboration. The project aims to empower AI solution integrators by creating a platform that facilitates advanced decision-making applications in dynamic and unstructured environments across various industrial sectors. HumAIne aspires to provide a novel operating system for Human-AI collaboration, the HumAIne OS. To do so, in HumAIne we concentrate on the needs of five different pilots, acting as users of HumAIne across five diverse industries. These pilots are expressing the user requirements for the HumAIne OS, and the HumAIne OS itself will be built offering foreground technologies that can address these user needs, when integrated together with background technologies from the pilots. While providing a solution to the user needs, these foreground technologies are to be delivered adhering to standards and best practices, resulting into a Human-AI collaboration operating system that can be trusted to operate in a production environment, beyond the scope of the HumAIne project. This public deliverable on requirements, scenarios and applicable standards is a pilot-centric one. It first addresses the user aspects, deriving user stories and KPIs for all pilots, highlighting the necessary humane-AI collaboration to carry out their underlying functionality. It then addresses technological aspects, considering the background technologies the HumAIne-agnostic versions of the pilots use in their current operation, and then presenting the foreground (HumAIne) technologies needed to transform the pilots into their improved, HumAIne-specific versions. The technical requirements for the foreground technologies are extracted. Finally, it analyses the standards associated with the foreground technologies.
