Existence-First Cosmology: Resolution-Shift Ansatz and Apparent Redshift Mechanism

This work presents an alternative cosmological model—Existence-First Cosmology—which challenges the standard Big Bang and cosmic expansion paradigms. The core idea is that fundamental particles pre-existed outside the universe, and the universe itself emerged as a container to encapsulate them. A key mechanism, the “resolution-shift ansatz,” is introduced, where the observer’s spatio-temporal resolution degrades over time, producing the illusion of cosmic expansion and redshift. We derive a two-parameter function f(t) = \alpha \log(1 + \beta t) that can be fit to supernova redshift–distance data and CMB temperature evolution, providing a minimal alternative to ΛCDM. The paper includes analytic formulae, explanatory graphs, and a clear roadmap for observational tests.
