ECHO AI: A NEXT-GENERATION INCLUSIVE VOICE ASSISTANT FOR TELUGU - SPEAKING COMMUNITIES

This paper introduces Echo AI, an innovative voice assistant system designed for seamless human-technologyinteraction through advanced voice command processing. Echo AI leverages state-of-the-art speech recognitionand Google’s Gemini AI’s natural language processing capabilities for precise spoken language-to-textconversion and contextually relevant response generation. A key contribution is its comprehensive support forTelugu, a Dravidian language spoken by millions in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, bridging the digital dividefor those with limited English proficiency. Furthermore, Echo AI includes a dedicated mode for elderly users,featuring an accessible inter- face with larger text, slower audio, and simplified commands. The system offersdual-mode output (text and audio) for enhanced usability in various contexts, including hands-free scenarios.Its scalable architecture enables future integration with additional languages, features, and smart devices. EchoAI represents a significant advancement in inclusive, user-centric voice technology, providing a robust andadaptable platform for diverse user needs.
