VARIOUS HUMAN BEHAVIORS AND THEIR CAUSES: EXPLORING THE IMPACT OF ATTITUDES ON PSYCHOLOGY IN THE LIGHT OF ISLAMIC TEACHINGS

Abstract:This research explores the intricate relationship between human attitudes and psychologicalwell-being, examining how these dynamics manifest in behavior patterns. The study adopts amultidisciplinary approach, integrating psychological theories with Islamic teachings toanalyze the underlying causes of various human behaviors. Drawing from classical andcontemporary Islamic sources—such as the Qur'an, Hadith, and works of notable scholars—the paper highlights how Islamic ethics and moral frameworks address the formation andconsequences of attitudes. The research further discusses the cognitive, emotional, andbehavioral dimensions of attitudes and their influence on individual and collective mentalhealth. By comparing modern psychological insights with the guidance found in Islamicprinciples, the study provides a holistic framework for understanding and modifying behavior. The findings emphasize the importance of positive attitude cultivation and self-accountability(muhasabah) as tools for psychological resilience and spiritual growth. This synthesis offersvaluable implications for educators, counselors, and religious scholars concerned withbehavioral reform and mental wellness in contemporary Muslim societies.
