Library Automation and Emerging Technologies

Abstract This paper presents Growing Interest in the investigation and development of the next generation web – the Semantic Web. While most of the current forms of web contents are design to be presented to humans, but are barely understandable by computers. Library Automation using emerging technologies aims to enhance library operations and services through the application of information and communication technologies. This includes automation tasks like cataloging, circulation and acquisition, as well as improving user experience and information access. Emerging technologies like AI, NLP, RPA, RFID and Big Data analytics are being integrated to improve efficiency, reduce human error, and optimize library services.
