Paper 71: A Conceptual Shell-Resonance Scaffold for Low-ℓ CMB Structure in Holosphere Theory

This paper introduces a conceptual shell-resonance interpretation for the large-scale structure of the Cosmic Microwave Background within Holosphere Theory. The main idea is that the leading low-ℓ\ellℓ CMB peaks may be understood as angular standing modes on a large coherence shell rather than only as a frozen relic of photon-baryon acoustic oscillations. In this picture, the first task is to identify a base resonance ladder for shell-supported angular modes, and the second is to explain why the observed higher peaks depart from that simplest ladder in a structured way. The paper develops this idea at a deliberately limited level. It introduces a base shell-resonance relation of the form ℓn=πϵn\ell_n=\pi\epsilon nℓn=πϵn, uses the first major peak near ℓ≈220\ell\approx220ℓ≈220 as the anchor for the effective spacing scale, and gives a rough geometric argument for why a low-order linear ladder is a natural first expectation on a closed shell. It then introduces a phenomenological triadic interference layer to represent structured peak shifts away from the uncorrected ladder. To make the scaffold concrete, the paper includes a lightweight toy model that generates conceptual figures for the base ladder, shifted ladder, modulation envelope, and combined toy spectrum. These figures are not presented as a physical shell solver or as a final fit to Planck data. Their purpose is to clarify the mechanism being proposed and to show how shell spacing, mode shifts, and interference can be organized into one coherent picture. The paper is therefore a conceptual precursor, not a final validation paper. Its role is to define the shell-resonance scaffold clearly, separate the base ladder from the unresolved correction layer, and provide a structured target for later solver-based work in the Holosphere CMB program.
