The Process Of Developing Leadership Competencies For High School Principals - Insights From Vietnamese Case
In the context of globalization and international integration in the field of education and training in Vietnam, modern theories of leadership development for principals of high schools have been approached and applied in both training of administrators and school leadership practices. This study was conducted to help clarify the question of how the theories of school leadership development from the point of view of Western authors can be compatible in the context of high school policy and leadership culture in Vietnam. From the results of that assessment, the authors have connected the theoretical foundations with the practice of school leadership to propose some solutions to optimize the theories of leadership development in cultivating and training principals of high schools in Vietnam.
