Improved Fit to GW190521 Using a Compactified 5D Timefield Model

We demonstrate that a compactified 5D timefield model, which introducesfrequency-dependent gravitational wave dispersion via a curved temporal dimen-sion, produces a better fit to real data from GW190521 than General Relativity(GR) alone. Using post-Newtonian inspiral models adjusted by -curvature-inducedphase shifts, we compare generated waveforms against LIGO Hanford strain dataand observe a reduction in RMSE by 19.4%. These results provide the first em-pirical signal-level evidence for a fifth time-like dimension influencing gravitationalwave propagation. © 2025 Nathaniel MacDonald. This work may be shared with attribution but not reused, modified, or republished without explicit permission.
