The Ulnar Nerve: Bilateral Complete Congenital Dislocation

This represents an exceptionally rare presentation. I will refrain from statistical elaboration, but note it is the first such case I have encountered in my medical career. After thorough literature review, I found similar reported cases – but these were clearly acquired (as explicitly stated by their authors). Thus, the congenital origin and bilateral involvement constitute, in my opinion, its exceptional and unique nature.

Abstract

This represents an exceptionally rare presentation. I will refrain from statistical elaboration, but note it is the first such case I have encountered in my medical career. After thorough literature review, I found similar reported cases – but these were clearly acquired (as explicitly stated by their authors). Thus, the congenital origin and bilateral involvement constitute, in my opinion, its exceptional and unique nature.
