Furthermore, a descriptive correlational research design was employed. An adapted questionnaire was conducted to 114 teachers from 11 elementary schools in Medina District, Division of Misamis Oriental through purposive sampling. The responses of the teachers were gathered and analyzed using Mean, Standard Deviation and Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient. Results revealed that teachers are satisfied with their job and highly committed with their profession. There is a significant relationship between the teachers’ job satisfaction and professional commitment. Salary and benefit, workplace environment, job responsibilities, and community attachment and linkages were statistically related to professional commitment of teachers.
