SURGICAL TREATMENT OF DYSTROPHIC BONE CYSTS IN CHILDREN

The authors are based on the authors' experience of using the Ilizarov apparatus for the formation of intraosseous regenerate in order to compensate for a bone defect. The fundamental difference between the developed technique and the treatment method is to preserve the anatomical shape of the bone without the use of allomaterial. Using the Ilizarov method for the formation of intraosseous regenerate makes it possible to replace significant volumes of bone cavities. With the "maturation" of the intraosseous distraction regeneration of the affected bone segment, it acquires all the mechanical and strength characteristics that are not inferior to the healthy bone of this segment.
