According to epidemiological studies, the total number of people suffering from bronchial asthma approaches 7 million. Limited studies on the clinical course of bronchial asthma in children with connective tissue dysplasia (CTD) have confirmed one of the key principles of the classification concept of CTD. This principle considers CTD as a structural and functional background that determines the characteristics of associated pathology.
