Accepting the Infinity of Numbers Without Proof and Its Ontological Implications
This paper explores the philosophical and scientific acceptance of infinite numbers in the absence of empirical proof. It argues that although infinity cannot be observed directly, it can be rationally accepted due to its foundational role in mathematics and theoretical physics. The paper also addresses the ontological implications of accepting infinity, suggesting that such acceptance challenges our understanding of the physical universe and opens the door to the possible existence of non-physical mathematical realms. As an independent researcher, my goal is to investigate fundamental questions at the intersection of mathematics, metaphysics, and scientific reasoning.
