Strengths-Based Leadership and Employee Well-Being: A Positive Organizational Approach

Abstract In today’s dynamic work environments, leaders are expected to inspire, engage, and retain talent in ways that go beyond traditional management techniques. One such evolving model is strengths-based leadership, rooted in the principles of Positive Organizational Psychology. This paper explores how leveraging employee strengths can significantly enhance well-being, job satisfaction, and organizational performance. By shifting focus from fixing weaknesses to amplifying what individuals do best, organizations can cultivate a more resilient, motivated, and productive workforce. The study examines theoretical foundations, empirical findings, real-world applications, and the potential limitations of adopting this approach. It highlights how strengths-based leadership fosters a culture of empowerment, aligning personal capabilities with organizational goals.
