A Patient-Centered Analytical and Pharmacovigilance Framework to Improve the Safety, Quality, and Accessibility of Cardiovascular and Neurological Therapies in Low-Income Public Health Settings"
Cardiovascular and neurological disorders are among the leading contributors to global mortality and long-term disability. Despite significant pharmaceutical advancements, millions of patients in low-income public health settings continue to suffer due to unsafe drug combinations, substandard formulations, and a lack of pharmacovigilance. This self-authored article proposes a patient-centered, scientifically rigorous framework that integrates analytical chemistry and real-world pharmacovigilance to identify, prevent, and resolve drug-related risks in public healthcare. Grounded in lived experience and professional ambition, this research aims to ensure that chronic disease therapies are not only effective but also equitably accessible, especially to underserved populations.
