PHYSICO-CHEMICAL INVESTIGATION OF THE PROCESSES OF DEHYDRATION AND PARAVULFRAMATES OF SOME ELEMENTS OF THE THIRD GROUP
Thermogravimetry, PMR, and IR spectroscopy have been used to study the nature of OHn– groupings and their place in the coordination of two types of paravolphramates: Me10[W12O40(OH)2]3٠nH2O and (Me2OH)2[W12O40(OH)2] ٠nH2O, where Me3+ is In, Sc, Y, Gd, Lu, the chemical composition of which is determined based on the results of chemical, differential thermal and X-ray phase analysis methods, X-ray spectral microanalysis and IR spectroscopy. Based on the data of a physico-chemical study, the presence of several types of water in the salts has been confirmed; temperature ranges of dehydration and thermal stability have been determined.; The formation of a tetrameric [Me4(OH)2(H2O)n]10+ group in the structure of hydroxoparavolframates, the presence of two types of hydroxyl groups, and the course of the oxolation process with the gradual removal of the OH- groups, coordinated at the cation while preserving the structure of the paravolframate anion [W12O40(OH)2]10- have been established.
