Life on Earth is sustained by complex interactions between organisms and their environment. These biotic interactions can be captured in datasets and published digitally. We present a review and archiving process for such an openly accessible digital interactions dataset of known origin and discuss its outcome. The dataset under review, named millerse/Wardeh-et-al.-2015, has fingerprint hash://md5/b8868d7333a0823a8be6967ecf61b5a8, is 89.7MiB in size and contains 271,904 interaction with 1 unique type of association (e.g., hasHost) between 8,903 primary taxon (e.g., influenza a virus) and 6,307 associated taxon (e.g., homo sapiens). This report includes detailed summaries of interaction data, a taxonomic review from multiple catalogs, and an archived version of the dataset from which the reviews are derived.
