HOW EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY IS SHAPING ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING AND LEARNING IN KAZAKHSTAN
Kazakhstan, a nation with a rich cultural heritage and a diverse linguistic landscape, recognizes the importance of English as a global lingua franca. The country’s strategic vision, outlined in the "Kazakhstan 2050" development plan, emphasizes the need for a multilingual population capable of competing in the global economy [1]. As such, English language proficiency has become a national priority. However, traditional methods of language instruction have often fallen short in meeting the needs of learners. This gap has prompted educators to explore innovative solutions, particularly through the integration of educational technology.
