Retiring Time

This paper initiates the Collapse Unified Series by retiring "time" as a fundamental variable in physics. Using the pre-established observational collapse framework introduced in the Origin Light trilogy, we formally reconstruct causality, entropy, and irreversibility as emergent properties of gradient-driven collapse sequences. We demonstrate that directional behavior in physical systems can be encoded via a scalar observation function O(ξ), eliminating the need for temporal evolution. The framework resolves the paradoxes of thermodynamic irreversibility and entropy increase without invoking time, and proposes a falsifiable experimental prediction: entropy gradients should correspond directly to spatial collapse asymmetries. All derivations are self-contained and traceable to previous foundational works, with no reliance on external temporal constructs.
