Role of Artificial Intelligence and Low-Cost Robotics in Indian Rural Healthcare: A Computer Science Perspective

This paper presents a narrative review of the applications, challenges, and feasibility of integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) and affordable robotics into the Indian rural healthcare system. The study emphasizes the need for automation in diagnosis, treatment, logistics, and elderly care due to the shortage of medical professionals and infrastructure. The focus is on computer science-driven innovations and their potential to bridge the rural-urban healthcare gap in India.
