Design And Development of Battery Protection System for Electric Vehicle
The growing use of electric vehicles (EVs) creates the need for efficient and renewable charging infrastructure. This study centers on utilizing solar photovoltaic (PV) power and grid supply to design a hybrid EV charging station that maximizes energy distribution and minimizes grid reliance. A complete mathematical model is introduced to examine solar power generation, battery storage control, grid interaction, and load demand. The approach comprises system architecture design, energy flow analysis, site feasibility study, hardware implementation, intelligent energy management, and performance assessment. The envisioned system emphasizes solar energy use with battery storage as a buffer and the grid as a reserve power source. Real-time energy management and predictive analysis are made more efficient with an IoT-based monitoring system. Performance analysis takes energy into account. efficiency, reliability across different weather conditions, and economic viability, including cost-benefit analysis. Simulation outcomes confirm the efficiency of the hybrid charging station in providing cost-effective, reliable, and environmentally friendly EV charging. Future developments could include Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) technology, Al-based energy optimization, and rural electrification initiatives.
