A Unified Emergent Field Theory.
A Unified Emergent Field Theory: Space, Time, Mass, Light, and Quantization from a Single Scalar Field We present a numerical and theoretical framework in which space, time, mass, light, and quantization emerge from the dynamics of a single scalar field ϕ(x,t)\phi(x,t)ϕ(x,t). Starting from near-zero initial conditions, the field evolves under a nonlinear self-interaction potential to self-organize into coherent structures. We demonstrate that spatial geometry arises from the field’s magnitude, mass-like energy concentrations emerge from localized φ compression, time is defined by recursive zero-crossings, and quantization appears naturally in the field’s spectral modes. A gravitational analog of Planck’s constant, ℏg\hbar_gℏg, is extracted numerically. Light emerges as traveling φ wave packets with minimal dispersion. This model suggests a unified physical substrate from which both classical and quantum phenomena—and possibly time-aware structure—can arise. This framework may offer a foundation for emergent spacetime, informational geometry, and recursive systems such as biological memory and consciousness.
