Poetic Wandering of Apollon Grigorev
The work deals with a profound analysis of the works by A. Grigoriev. A particular attention is paid to the motif of wandering, which permeates all his works. The main idea of the article is that A. Grigoriev, as a representative of "painful poetry", reflects in his poems the existential loneliness of a man, his internal discontent of both social and everyday and existential terms, growing to the idea of man's disorder in the universe as a whole, which is experienced by the poet as a personal fate. The personality of the poet, his topical experiences and love collisions reflected in his work are examined in the article, as well as his unique poetic style and place in the context of Russian poetry. The author also analyzes key works that manifest the poet’s creative worldview, such as the sonnet «Comet», the poems «City», «Above you, a secret power was given to me», «Gypsy Hungarian», etc. The motif of wandering in the poetry of A. Grigoriev becomes a reflection of existential search and personal rebellion, which makes his works relevant and significant for further research in the Russian literature.
