22.Vanilla perexilisBertoni (Bertoni 1910: 8) Fig. 3 D Type. PARAGUAY • Puerto Bertoni; Bertoni 3631; lectotype (designated here): SCP! [SCPD 00037]; remaining syntype: SCP! [SCPD 00040]. Notes. The paper in which Bertoni published this species explicitly states that he was working on materials from his own herbarium (Bertoni 1910). Two specimens with the number Bertoni 3631 are deposited at SCP, and both conform to the protologue. Therefore, the richest of both specimens is selected as lectotype.
