Lagna Neutralization System (LNS): A Framework for Psychospiritual and Karmic Interpretation in Vedic Astrology

This paper introduces the Lagna Neutralization System (LNS), a novel framework aimed at resolving interpretive inconsistencies in classical Vedic astrology by anchoring the Lagna (Ascendant) at 0°, thereby reorienting the astrological chart without altering planetary relationships. Integrating this system with Erikson’s nine psychosocial stages of development and the Navāmsha chart, the study presents a comprehensive model that links psychological evolution with karmic purpose. Through comparative analysis of the classical, Western whole sign, and LNS approaches, the paper evaluates their philosophical coherence, predictive accuracy, and usability. The study concludes that LNS offers a balanced synthesis between tradition and innovation, especially for spiritual and life-purpose-centered astrology.
