On the Existence of an Absolute Frame of Reference Beyond Special Relativity
The principle of inertial frame equivalence, as established in the Special Theory of Relativity, has long been regarded as a cornerstone ofmodern physics. However, recent advancements in observational cosmology, particularly analyses of the cosmic microwave background (CMB)anisotropies, suggest the possibility of a preferred cosmic reference frame. In this paper, we propose a theoretical framework introducing the conceptof an absolute frame of reference, grounded in the large-scale mass-energydistribution of the universe. We derive modified formulations for relativistic phenomena including time dilation, light speed anisotropy, and particle kinematics as functions of absolute velocity relative to this universalframe. We further outline experimental methodologies capable of testingthe predictions of this framework, using current or near-future technology. Our aim is to provide a coherent extension to relativity that reconciles local relativistic invariance with a broader, cosmologically groundedstructure.
